A New PGRSC Member: Northern Mariana Islands Division of Fish and Wildlife

PGRSC is pleased to annouce a new institutional member: Northern Mariana Islands Division of Fish and Wildlife

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) Division of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) has been implementing geospatial technology for processing, organizing, analyzing, and long-term archiving of biological data for conservation projects.

To support decision making, the CNMI DFW also analyzes satellite and drone/unmanned aerial system (UAS) imagery to support natural resources and rare species management. The Division looks forward to exchanging information and learning from the PGRSC network to support more resilient Pacific Island communities and safeguard natural resources.
