Abstract Submission

First Time Users
If you have not yet made a submission to our conferences, you must create an account on our system here.

  • Selection will be advised to author by email in early November 2026
  • Full papers must be presented in English.
  • The presentation of the papers should be 15-20 minutes (including questions)

Abstract submission for the 2025 Conference is now OPEN. For any inquiries, please contact conference@pgrsc.org. Guidelines for abstract submission are found below.

Submit your abstracts here. You must log in on PGRSC website before entering an abstract.

The 2026 Conference will be held under the theme: “Strengthening and Expanding Geospatial Networks in the Pacific Islands”.

Please provide the following information in order to submit your abstract:

  • Presentation title, presenter names and affiliation are mandatory to submit your proposition of presentation
  • You must choose one theme from the list; Disaster Risk Management, Forestry, Marine, Mapping, Terrestrial, Women in GIS
  • Presenters must submit a short summary of the presentation (< 800 words) followed by a short presenter bio (< 500 words) int the description field
  • Presentation abstract should be submitted as odf, doc, docx or pdf file (optional), which will be linked to the conference website
  • 3 images (png, jpg) illustrating your talk (optional)
  • Presenter photo
