Salmendra Ratnesh Chand (aka Salmen Chand) is the Chief Pilot for RPAS UAV Systems and Drone Training instructor and the first Civil Aviation of Fiji (CAAF) approved commercial drone pilot/operator within Fiji Islands. He has been working in the drone industry for the past 9 years and during that time has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field. He is proficient in all aspects of drone operations, from basic flight maneuvers to advanced navigation and obstacle avoidance. He is also well versed with all relevant safety procedures and regulations.
He is up to date on all the latest developments in the drone industry and is widely known and recognized for capacity building within Fiji and other Pacific Island Countries.
