The Hawaiʻi Geographic Information Coordinating Council (HIGICC) is now a member of the Pacific GIS and Remote Sensing Council (PGRSC).

HIGICC is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization consisting of members of Hawai’i’s geospatial community. Our goal is to provide coordination of geospatial activities among a wide range of users in order to avoid duplication of effort, promote data sharing, and maintain data standards throughout the state of Hawaiʻi. HIGICC provides outreach, professional development via conferences and webinars, networking events, and facilitates working groups to execute the HIGICC mission. The values and mission of HIGICC align with those of PGRSC, and HIGICC looks forward to cross-promoting and collaborating with PGRSC in an effort to enrich our Pacific geospatial community.

HIGICC is recognized as a GIS professional association by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI). For more information about HIGICC, please visit: www.higicc.org
