United States of America National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is proud to collaborate with PGRSC
For the benfits of Pacific Island communities in the use of remote sensing to better understand our changing planet and to improve the ability of humans and ecosystems to mitigate and adapt so that we all may continue to thrive. Over more than 50 years, NASA missions and science have built the foundational understanding of how our home planet works and changes. NASA’s unique end-to-end capability as a space and science agency enables society and decision-makers everywhere to address the most pressing challenges posed by the changing environment. This is particularly critical in vast areas like the Pacific Ocean, where water connects cultures and ecosystems, and where remotely sensed Earth observations are fundamental to understand the interconnected Earth system.
NASA explores the unknow
iin air and space, innovates for the benefit of humanity, and inspires the world through discovery. For more than 65 years, NASA has made the seemingly impossible, possible. At its 20 centers and facilities across the country and with U.S. commercial companies and international partners, NASA leads studying Earth science, including climate, our Sun, solar system, and the larger universe. We conduct cutting-edge research to advance technology and aeronautics. We operate the world’s leading space laboratory, the International Space Station, and will establish a sustainable and strong exploration presence on the Moon this decade through the Artemis campaign.
